Murcia is a small town in the south-east of Spain, the capital of the region of Murcia. When I was there in 1992 to 1994 it was the epitome of a sleepy Spanish town. Hot all the time,

the streets lined with lemon and lime trees, the siesta was sacred and socialising just seemed more important than working.... Since then there has been an explosion of growth and construction, which I sincerely hope hasn't robbed this lovely little town of its character.
