autumn it is hot and dry, most days it is 30 to 35 degrees and sunny. Summer is the problem, the average temperature is around 35 degrees and it can often reach 45, particularly when the sirocco winds are blowing from the Sahara. So, do as the Murcianos do, spend most of the year there then run for the beach in July and August! As there are lots within an hour's drive of the city, it's easy.
